Polyken 510 Premium Grade Gaffers Tape is a heavy duty vinyl-coated tape with a waterproof, low gloss, non-reflective cloth backing. Applications include protecting and anchoring wiring in the photography and film industry; bookbinding; vinyl bus seat repair tape; wrapping or bundling of wire, metals, and plastics; protecting and anchoring electrical wiring; and moisture and dust-proof sealing of equipment cases and film canisters. Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) – complies with VOC requirements of SCAQMD Rule 1168. Also contributes toward satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials Adhesives & Sealants) under LEED. Also referred to as Nashua 510 Gaffers Tape (Polyken and Nashua are both sub-brands of Berry Plastics/Covalence Adhesives). Polyken 510 Gaffers Tape is designed for exterior weather and temperature applications. Heavy-duty vinyl coated waterproof cloth backing with excellent flexibility. Clean removal adhesive. High thread count for a clean, straight tear. Polyken 510 has the smoothest finish of any gaffers tape we carry. It also has a softer adhesive than most other gaffers tapes so it adheres better to carpets.
