Tyco 702208 Permanent Foam Mounting Tape is a double-sided foam tape used to mount objects where nails or screws are not desirable. Can be used on tile, glass, metal, plaster and finished wood surfaces. Each 2-inch length strip will hold approximately 1/2 pound of weight when applied to a smooth clean surface. Be sure mounting surface is free of grease, dust and wax before applying. Due to bonding strength of the adhesive, mounting tape is not recommended for use on wallpaper, plasterboard or unfinished wood as damage to these surfaces may occur upon removal. Once applied the object can not be repositioned without ruining adhesive. Foam on tape is approximately 1/16” thick.
